TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ADDING-ON TERMS and CONDITIONS and VARIATIONS TO THE QUOTE:
- Any topics or scenarios that are not covered below OR any variations that are desired, are by default, to be raised, discussed and agreed upon between you, the Customer / Client, and JDMultiman, if they arise at any time.
Meaning: If you or JDMultiman think of something that needs to be set as a Term or Condition or desire a Variation be made to the Contract, either party will raise the thought at any time before or after the Contract is accepted, before works have started, while works are in progress or after completion. Then, a discussion can be had between you and us and we can determine the potential to add the Term or Condition or make the variation that is being discussed. Note: There is no obligation for either party to accept any changes to contract.
- Any ADDED Term or Condition or variation that inevitably increases the cost of performing the works, will require you to agree to and accept an increase in cost of the quote that JDMultiman has provided to you. The additional cost would be added to the original quote as a cost increase variation. If an added Term or Condition, or variation causes a decrease in cost, then the cost of the Quote can be decreased accordingly.
REQUESTING OUR SERVICES:
- After you accept (in writing), the job details / instructions on your job-specific quote, and after you also agree (in writing), to pay for said services for the amount stated on the job-specific quote, a legally binding contract is automatically created between JDMultiman and you, the Customer/Client.
WITHDRAW OR CANCEL OUR SERVICE:
- Cancelling a contract after acceptance (before works have started) will not incur any fee if JDMultiman has not commenced any works and has not made any purchases in relation to your job.
- Cancelling a contract after acceptance (after works have started) will incur a once-off fee equivalent to the amount of costs that JDMultiman has incurred as a result of starting to perform the work, which includes costs of any purchases related to your job.
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS:
- Your obligations of the job contract are the details that are specified on the quote itself that relate to what you must and must not do before, during and after the job is completed.
JDMULTIMAN OBLIGATIONS:
- Our Obligations of the job contract are the details that are specified on the quote itself that relate to what we must and must not do before, during and after the job is completed.

QUALITY CONTROL:
- Because different levels of Quality can have different levels of cost (due to time and material quality costs), You, the Customer / Client have the opportunity to specify the level of quality that you want JDMultiman to perform the job to. If not specified by you, JDMultiman will automatically quote for and provide workmanship of 'good' quality, including the use of materials and products that are of 'good' quality.
- JDMultiman monitors and maintains appropriate control of the quality of works on a step-by-step basis as the job progresses. Meaning that works will only progress if we are satisfied that the quality of each step satisfies the customers expectations as stated on the quote.
JDMultiman will never provide workmanship, materials and products that are of less than 'good' quality. JDMultiman cannot provide workmanship, material or products that is of low / poor quality, even if willingly requested by you, the Customer / Client.
PROGRESS RECORD KEEPING:
- JDMultiman will keep regular records of the job before job starts, as it progresses, and after job is completed, which would generally include (but not limited to): notes of progress, notes of discussions, emails, receipts, photos, videos, site condition reports..
This information will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy for an appropriate period of time.
CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS / QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP:
- The Quality of workmanship will be specified on the quote itself.
- If you, the Customer / Client are less than 95% satisfied with the quality of workmanship that JDMultiman has provided, JDMultiman will return to site to assess the alleged issue that was raised, JDMultiman will then discuss with you, whether or not there is a legitimate issue or not. If JDMultiman determines thatwhat is believed to be the best way to resolve the alleged issue or if there and then will attempt to address the issue as if the issue was a new, stand-alone job to be completed.
SITE ACCESS:
- The Customer may access the site at any time they may require (request to be in writing), and JDMultiman will provide a suitable time for you to enter and inspect the site / works, as long as there is no danger to you or others, and the access does not unreasonably hold up any critical part of the works at the time.
DAMAGE / LOSS CAUSED BY US:
- We will repair / replace or pay to repair / replace, any damage / damaged items that we cause to parts of your property / possessions that are not related to the area of our works. We may cover the reasonable cost of any loss that we may cause as a result of accidental damage caused by our works on or to your property.
DAMAGE / LOSS CAUSED BY YOU:
- Any damage or loss caused by you, the Customer / Client, to our works, our tools, our products, our equipment, our machinary, our materials, our bodies as the workers or our reputation, will be physically (by way of replacements) or financially compensated by you, the Customer / Client, to the extent of the cost of the loss that is incurred by JDMultiman.
PAYMENTS:
-Payment of some or all Materials and products specified in the Scope-of-Works above, will be firmly expected to be paid directly to the supplier by the Customer, prior to the time that those Materials or Products are required, before the works can commence or continue. This ensures that the Customer officially owns and holds the Materials and Products. This method of upfront Material/Product payment has the benefit of reducing the cost of Materials and Products by removing the need for JDM to add their own additional GST and JDM's holding fees Material and Product purchases. A purchase order number can be provided to the Customer to pay, which may include a JDM account discount on materials.
-In general, the expected period of payment for any invoiced works, will be 21 calender days (not business days). IMPORTANT NOTE: Payments in arrears will accrue interest charges at a rate of 5% per annum, calculated daily.
-Progress Payments will be expected for any contracts over the value of $10,000 total. However, the Customer is more than welcome to make progress payments of their own choice and comfort as the works progress, regardless of the expected level of payment at each stage, in order to reduce the total amount paid upon completion of the works.
-Upon satisfactory completion of the Scope-of-Works and a satisfactory final-inspection result, an invoice will be released to the Customer. The invoice will specify payment terms based on the Payment terms stated directly above.
